Many of us look for low cost methods, for me it worked, for others it does not. This is only my experience. After reviewing and reading about the topic of castration I tried several low cost methods. My testicles were the size of a large egg. I used the burdizo three times on each side with no long term effect. I tried injecting everclair. It did have a noticeable difference. I did 5cc, 15 times over a period of a year. Now my testicles are the size of a marble and my t-level is at 80. I am happy with the way it turned out. I did go through the side effects and now take 100mg of HRT cream daily. I have the calm I was looking for. HOWEVER, that is only me and you may not have that same outcome. This is just my story. What happens now that they have shrunk I don't know. If anyone has gone through this I would like to know what you went through. please email me.

He didn't say 10%. He said 100mg, which is 10grams. that is the same as two packs of androgel, which comes in a 1% solution, in 5gm packets

Think about it Lavanda.......there is lots of stuff in drinking alcohol. Gin has all kinds of botanicals in it. Vodka and Bourbon are made from and contain many products. While the idea of a simple fix might sound inticing, and may have worked for others, (can you believe them?) self-injecting anything into a testicle does not make common sense. You are going to have all kinds of things in your blood stream that should not be there, things that normally get filtered out by your liver and kidneys when you drink alcohol.

Having said that, I once had a painful hammer toe. Cortisone injections into my foot did not relieve the pain. Finally the Dr. gave me 3 separate injections over a 3 week period of some other drug (I don't know what it was), and that part of my foot is now permanently numb. I still have the hammertoe, but no pain. I wanted so bad to ask him to just inject both nuts with that stuff, but of course I would not and did not ask. But, the point is that this is a chemical that is used in medicine, that has a known effect, but even then, injecting this into a foot, and injecting it into a testicle is a whole different ball game (pun intended). One should not assume that just because something works for someone else, or works on one part of the body, even if it is used medically, that we as novices should experiment and tinker with these things. Sanity=safety.

Without getting too lengthy, I have been injecting my testes with 100 proof, triple filtered Smirnoff vodka for some time. It was sometimes painfull at first but strangely, not always and didn't take that many injections to permanently numb the testes. Amounts varied but typical amount was 1 1/2 cc and max has been 5 cc in one injection. I've used not quite half of a fifth size bottle. My general doctor noted my smaller, very firm balls and sent me for an ultrasound and then to a urologist. Another ultrasound and surgical biopsy led to the diagnosis of "infarcted" testicles and a testosterone level of 95. My medical knowledge isn't extensive so I'm not quite sure what differentiates aptosis from infarcted. Aptosis seems to be individual cell deaths but infarcted seems more general But neither seem to be like necrosis where the organ is physically dead and rotting. My doctor used dead to describe infarcted but it doesn't seem to be causing any immediate problems. I didn't think of it until later but should have asked, if the testicle is infarcted (dead) and you removed about 1 cc for the biopsy and then sewed it up and put the testicle back in the scrotum, how can it heal if it is dead? Or does dead just refer to making sperm and testosterone but the organ itself is viable? Anyway, I go back in a couple months and if my T level is still that low, he will remove them. Alcohol injection can work if you're patient.

I am glad some logic is finally coming to the forefront on the topic. That is all I will say, I've been chastised before for saying more. Be careful, use common sense, there are dangers with this, they can be mitigated though never eliminated. That said the hysteria of fatal infections or other be ready to die comments are so far in the left field. Yes you could, but you could also die from slipping in your shower which would actually be statistically far more likely. Yes there are other "things" in Vodka and such, and honestly it would be pretty dumb to use anything other than medical grade Ethyl alcohol. This is used to shrink liver tumors and was even used in a story line recently on Grey's Anatomy to repair a heart valve in a very risky procedure where 50ml was injected directly into a vascular artery (Doctor only stuff for sure!). As, to your kidneys and liver filtering alcohol you drink, it's true, but for it do so it has to get into the bloodstream to begin with...so the same would remain true. There are medical applications, that does not mean it's a HOME remedy, but then neither are other methods, which are probably far more dangerous, including Burdizzo and elastrator.

The reason why is fairly simple. People are stupid.

I'm not pointing fingers at those here, but people in general have the average IQ of lint, and less sense of personal responsibility than your average three-year old.

We have to take into consideration the possibility of someone reading something on here, doing it, having something bad happen or regretting it, and deciding to sue our asses for their mistake. While we cannot eliminate this risk, we can minimize it. This is why we've tended to be a bit worried about "self-help" threads such as these.

Another thing to think about with this discussion is that although there are some very intelligent people around on this board, many of us have gone through or going through a kind of obsessive compulsive fixation on castration and may not be thinking clear enough to make decisions that will effect the rest their lives.

Injecting anything into the testicles is dangerous and if you are that serious about getting castrated, max out your credit cards and have Kimmell or another physcian do it. Even better, order some androcur and most of you will wonder what the obsession was all about after your T drops through the floor. At least if you do that, you will only be out about $100 bucks and can recover in 6 weeks. It is an eye opening and head clearing experience to do the chemical castration.
