Physical Strength
One thing that concerns me is the effect of castration on physical strength. Is there a significant or minor loss?

For me there is a loss in muscle mass and strength. That will happen to any one that has the testosterone levels reduced. That is part of being a eunuch.

Thanks for the response. It is very much appreciated. How much physical strength do you think you've lost? 1%, 5%, 10%?
I am interested in feedback from everyone as I'm curious about whether it is a fairly uniform loss or if percentage of strength loss varies wildly.

I would guess I lost 10%-20%. I am going on things that I could lift with no problem before chemical castration and what I can lift now. The effects are different with every one. No way to tell. Would think the guys that are very strong will notice the change the most.

One thing I've found is physical activity, slowly led up to, can help a lot with fatigue and weakness. During quite a few bouts of this and that and the other - I've had a history of it - I've experienced this a few times over my life. It was worse when I was a kid, trust me, strange as that may be.
Yet later in life, when my T. levels bottomed out, I went through it all over again for the first time in years. It sucked; brought back a lot of bad memories too.
Little things like walking are a good place to start. Move your arms as you do. Take stairs, no elevators. Walk further on parking lots, etc., you get the idea. Work up to it slowly, though, before you start shit like lifting 200 lb. rocks and slinging 50 lb. bags of mulch or animal feed, too.

Paolo has the right idea. I definitely won't claim that hormonal composition is inmaterial to maintenance of strength. I will say it's not all. Activity is one of the best ways to maintain strength, regardless of hormone comps and levels. Paolo understates the amount. Don'y just walk further in the car park; walk or bike to your destination. It'll also add to your life and certainly to your qualitative enjoyment of life. Eat lots o' protein.

There is often a huge loss. When I was 18, before I got HRT, I was so weak that fat girls would outrun me jogging even though I trained every day. After my testicles were damaged at the age of 14, I slowly lost muscle until I was 121 pounds at 6'3" height. My T level was 54 ng/dl at 19 before I got HRT.
If you are concerned about losing strength once you become a eunuch you can try a couple things:
1. Creatine. It has been proven safe after about 200 studies over the last ten years. It is shown to improve brain function, reduce anxiety slightly, reduce fatigue greatly, and increase stamina and strength phenomenally. It works for everyone: old people, kids, transexuals and eunuchs. Start with 5 grams in the middle of your biggest meal of the day. After a week work a little into each meal. Make sure you take it with food. You can mix it into a liquid, it has no taste (like a straight decorator). Eventually take about 20 grams a day. You don't ever need to cycle off, it is really safe. But make sure you stretch all your muscles every day. This is because all the extra energy in the muscle makes it contract (tighten up) a little.
2. If you actually become a eunuch, find a preventative medicine clinic. I can suggest a couple good ones if you come up goose eggs. Private message me. Ask them for Decadurabolin. It is a hormone that will give you strength, but with very low androgenicity. This means that if you take a small dose it will not cause sex drive, erections or fluid production by the prostate. But it will help you have lots of stamina and strength, and you will really enjoy and look forward to exercise. You will also lose fat over time if you watch what you eat a little.
3. Once you are on an exercise program start eating more protein: Eggs, cottage cheese, tuna, salmon, chicken, and even protein drinks. But reduce carb intake except about 40 grams during or immediately after (within 20 minutes) exercise.
4. Omega-3 fatty acids: They improve blood flow which increases oxygen delivery to tissue during exercise. They also reduce joint pain.

Well i seen Jeff and how he rides his bike everywhere and the only thing that bothers me about Jeff is his bike tires are wore out and that boy is surley going to crash if he dosent get them changed.But seriously i feel more tired but i can still lift and do all the work i used to but i do tend to get tired more easly
