Since I live in a very conservative rural area where everybody knows everybody else and everyone likes to gossip, I have a great reluctance to mention my desires to a local doctor. The nearest metropolitan area is just far enough away to be inconvenient to get to.

I still keep looking wistfully at the $22.97 bander in my local farm store....

let me get this straight you are willing to risk death from sepsis or bloodloss rather than take a few hour trip????

I flew all the way across the US to get castrated so that excuse to me is total bunk

I know better than to use a bander.... However, I suppose that Kimmel's sometimes sloppy surgery could also lead to sepsis or bloodloss.

It's not the airplane trip that is the problem - it's the lengthy drive to and from my nearest airport. I am also less than thrilled about the possibility of being trapped in a strange hotel room with a bloody mess hanging between my legs....

I've waited over 30 years to be castrated. Waiting a bit longer to find the right doctor won't make much difference.

Going overseas to be video taped for a medical fetish DVD is not for me but if your curious about costs (as I was) I sent an email to the O-R-R clinic in Beligium *Which if you ARE going on a castration vacation is very nice.

Todays exchange makes that $2800 for the removals

$780 for implants *Assuming you want psudo testes.

thanks for your inquiry. for an orchiectomy a 2-3 night post-op stay here at

our facility is required before you can travel back inner europe. total

healing needs 6-8 weeks, after you returned home plan a week revovery at

home before you go back to work. the procedure is done under local

anesthesia. charge for the procedure is 2200 euro. additional charge for the

implants is 600 euro.

for the surgery we need to know

- age, height, weight

- general health condition

- previous surgeries

- heart problems

- regular taken medication

surgery days are monday and saturday. you should book an appointment 2-3

weeks in advance. for the confirmation of your surgery date we ask a deposit

of 500 euro paid to our bank account.

This is a very reasonable option for many folks, certainly those living in Europe, and especially as there have been no complaints on this board as to the quality of work. Even from my home on the western edge of North America, off-season travel costs to Amsterdam are currently not much over $1,000 CAD, and then it's a short train trip to Antwerp.

Your doctor should (must!) keep everything between him/her and you confidential. Any doctor who "blabs" is an unprofessional idiot.
