Re: Changing my screen name
Dear Paolo, I slide this message in on another Thread- sorry if I inpose.
What is the new "AVATAR" you have now ?? Japanese symbols ?? and what do they mean ??. I bought a book in Japan in the 90's so I could study some of these symbols, but You probably already know my externsive "library" was STOLEN by our friends in the local Government {{http://n3rf.tripod.com}} so I am sort of short on memory and referense material. Interesting and raised my curiosity. OK ??

Re: Changing my screen name
I'll answer for Paolo. The characters are pronounced "kami kaze" in Japanese and translate directly as "divine wind". It first referred to a typhoon that destroyed a Mongol fleet that was on course to invade Japan (after conquering both China and Korea). In WWII, of course, it referred to the suicide pilots who were expect to have the same function in preventing a successful invasion of the homeland.
