As I don't really know who handles this problem. I'll address them thusly.

I use IRCle to get into the chat room. It is my only way into the chat room now

I once used apIRC and eIRC but they disappeared.

Why did they go away?

Can we get them back?

They were good for us lowly Mac users.

IRCle isn't bad except that I can't see the Ban List. Not a good thing for a site op's.

I'd suggest Snak. It's a good client and feature rich. It's a shareware but a good deal for $25.

As far as the ban list goes you should be able to type: /mode #Lobby +b to see the list in your status/server window.
