Another Chat room problem (but patched)

The domain name for the chat server appears to have stopped working today (darkstar1.tzo.com). In the mean time you can access the server using a normal IRC client (such as mIRC, pIRCh, or trillian, but not the java web one) at irc.lurkrwolf.com port 6667.

Hopefully the normal domain will be fixed soon. I don't manage it nor know why it's down so can't quote an ETR on it. However the irc.lurkrwolf.com pointer will remain operation for as long as needed.

FYI - if you try to connect via the pjirc webchat at http://www.eunuch.org/chat/pjirc20/index.php when it says it cant connect, type this and you will get there

it looks like the server is resolving dns properly again.... so your normal login methods should work, mine just did

Our chat room is temporarily fixed (minus Count Blah) thanks to the genius efforts of Talula, Lurkrwolf, Bubba and Luvpain.....

I am very sorry about the chat room problem!

The DNS was paid but for some reason they didn't register the payment so the room went down.

Thanks to all for thier understandings and thanks to all for thier help. It is fixed now and as of this moment, Count Blah is back Blah'ing.

Christ, today seems to be the day of the DNS as I have had 2 other issues with name servers. Makes a person wonder.
