Gay Tales...

Post by Robby (imported) »

The worlds shortest fairytale...

Once upon a time a guy asked a girl, "will you marry me?" She said "No."

And the guy lived happily ever after.

The End

So why did he ask her to marry him? Because it would keep the hinges on the closet door well oiled? Hard to believe such a one could live happily ever after. And what if she had said yes? More pain than humor in this joke.

I don't agree. I think it's quite funny, but maybe that's because I can think of two cases where I've asked a girl to marry me, she agreed, but changed her mind later. Although I was unhappy about it at the time, I realized later how fortunate I was it had turned out that way. Looking back, marriage to either would have been hell. I wish my first wife had turned me down as well.

Gay, as in, Gay Old Time.

Gay as in, Gay 90's.

Gay as in, Merry, full of light-heartedness and merriment.

Hopefully, you will see the humor and avoid the pain.

Robby,

As my grandchildren would say, "that story is Gay..."

Believe me, there is freedom in those chains...

...happy is such a relative term, of course, my wife's relatives are the exception to this rule...
