This is the first time that I have posted anything in this forum. I have lurked around for years. Ever since I was a teenager and growing up on the farm, I have had an interest in self castration. It has taken a long time to gain insight into my own fascination with castration. And even now I don't claim to fully understand it. Like many people, it can be an excellent fantasy that results in some of the best and most powerful orgasms.

However, over the last couple of years I have began to notice a pattern in my urge for castration. It seems the strongest during the spring time and fall time. This corresponds to the times when my sex drive is in overdrive and making me crazy. During these times, I am driven not only to climax more often but to seek stronger climaxes. In the exploration of ever stronger climaxes, I feel someday it might get out of control and end up accidentally hurting myself. These times only seem to last about 3 weeks and then things return to normal. At almost all other times of the year, I really don't think that much about castration. I'm happy with plain vanilla sex and getting off. I don't have problems focusing at work and I don't feel constantly driven. If I do temporarily feel driven, a simple climax does the trick.

I'm 26yo. I am in a long term relationship with my bf and I hope that it is something that lasts a life time. We have already been together for 4 years and things are still going strong. I just recently introduced him to my general interest in castration. It really isn't something that he understands and it made him sad to think that I wanted to hurt myself. I have often wondered where I would be if I were single. I seriously doubt I would have gone for permanent castration, but I'm fairly confident I would have tried depo-provera.

Any thoughts on evening out my sex drive without totally killing it? I'm sure a shot of 150ml DP twice a year would stop the highs, but are there other alternatives? I have heard that chaste berry has a tendency to bring up a low sex drive and moderate a high sex drive. Would this be a good place to start and see if it has any effect? Any random thoughts on the matter are appreciated.

Go with the DP. Try one shot every 3 months first.

From what I have read by others, they noticed quite a bit of fluctuation in their sex drive when taking DP every other month or every three months. In my case, I would assume that it wouldn't prevent the fluctuations I currently have, but it would stop the high points that are currently driving me crazy. I'll have to give it some thought and talk to my other half.

I was on Depo Porovera for two years befor i had my surgery and i took one shot every month 150mil and it worked very good for me.It was prescribed by my doctor just because i asked him to help me along with my surgery.I want to say this though please dont rush into anything because surgery is perminant and you cant go back.So do take care and do your home work on this their can be problems with castration.

Thanks. I really don't think castration is right for me. I finally talked to my other half about the whole situation. He agreed that it would be best to try DP every 3 or 6 months. Really the problem is not so much the fluctuations as it is the surges. If anyone cares, I'll keep good notes and post them back to the archieve. I've noticed that quite a few people have problems with high sex drives bothering them. Maybe something I might have to say would be useful to other people. I'm relatively young and athletic.

I have ordered a couple doses and they should arrive in a week or two. If things seem okay after taking them, I'll see my physician and talk to him about prescribing it and monitoring me. While the risks are relatively low for taking it twice, I don't think it is a good idea to go for a long period of time with no supervision.

P.S. If you are with someone that you truly love and care about and they feel the same way about you, I really recommend talking to them. It was such a relief to no longer keep this a secret. My motto for life is, "Always be open and honest. It saves time and hurt feelings." This whole situation use to be the only exception for me.

Guy26 yes please let us know how things are going with you on this.You probley might not relise this but the things you post in here can be sooooooooooooo helpful to someone else that has the same problems that you have.This is how i learned what i needed just by reading how someone else salved their problems or just what they are going through. So again thank you thank you thank you.
