for anyone thinking about such a drastic step as perminently altering their hormonal state for the rest of their life, if you test drove it for a while, throught the chemical route, then decided you did not like it, the only answere would NOT be "Oh, well, sorry".

There is plenty of info. online to be found on castration as punishment, both chemical and surgical.

We had a rousing discussion on it once on the old board, and a lesser so one here long ago.

If we feel the need to have another, have a go at it but be nice.

I am convinced that this conviction of the innocent is not as rampant as you imply that it is. The vast majority of those convicted of crime are guilty. It is especially damning when DNA evidence is used to convict them.

Horror stories and Steven King's "Shawshank Redemption" notwithstanding, in America, those accused of crime have lots of rights. The are even allowed out free on bail in most cases.

While I agree with you that the castration of convicts, regardless of their crime, is a violation of civil liberties and should NOT be done, I disagree with your implication that conviction of the innocent in court happens frequently. It is rare when this happens. I am convinced that many, many more of the guilty get acquitted than the innocent get convicted.

Ok Politics suck and obviously i misstated my point. i would agree that far more guilty persons walk than inocent persons are convicted. my point was the tyrany that we would live under if such events became law. i am hopeful that Hot was mearly joking and i stand corrected. i will go back to my corner and put my nose against the wall for accidently starting a polital rant where it is not indicated.

I agree with you sag and A1, maybe better said, I would hate to see one innocent person found guilty and have them castrated then the 10 that beat the system. I actually think were all on the same page.

If you want to be castrated take a chemical drug for a year or more then see the doc for the snip.
