Ex rips off man's tackle

By ANDY RUSSELL

A JILTED girl tore off her ex-boyfriend's testicle with her bare hands - then popped it in her mouth, a court heard yesterday. Amanda Monti, 24, grabbed Jeffrey Jones, 37, by the genitals in a rage after he refused to have sex.

She ripped off his left testicle leaving him in "excruciating pain". Monti, just 5ft 2in, then put it in her mouth to hide it.👀

The testicle was later found by a pal of Mr Jones who handed it back, saying: "That's yours." Doctors were unable to re-attach it.

The victim told Liverpool Crown Court how he had earlier ended their relationship but Monti refused to accept it.

After a party at his home in Netherton, she wanted sex but he was not interested. There was a struggle and she ripped off his shorts leaving him in his pants.

I thought I'd seen a reference to this on a UK news website, but I didn't follow the link at the time, and I can't now find it.

However, there is a British newspaper "The Sun", and the article is in the right style (including the use of 'Ex' and 'tackle' in the headline) and is the right length for a journal which caters for a readership which might well have have to ask what 'castration' meant and would certainly think that 'orchidectomy' was something to do with flower arranging.

There is a place called Netherton on the northern edge of Liverpool (even though the association with an atack on the 'nether regions' seems a bit of a co-incidence) and Liverpool Crown Court would be the appropriate venue for the case to be heard.

Woman ripped off ex-lover's testicle

Jan 12 2005

By Sarah Chapman, Liverpool Echo

A DUMPED girlfriend admitted tearing off her exboyfriend's testicle.

Jeffrey Jones, 37, was permanently injured after the attack by jilted secretary Amanda Monti, 24.

Monti, of Clifton Road, Birkenhead, was due to go on trial at Liverpool crown court yesterday accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. But she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of unlawful wounding.

The court heard that Monti had a relationship with Mr Jones for a number of years, and about a month before the attack, he decided to end it.

Monti continued to call him, and on May 30 she offered to drive him to his home in Netherton from a friend's barbecue.

He told her he was going out again to Crosby and she asked if she could remain at his home until he returned.

Mr Jones came back with some friends and there was a party. During the early hours, Mr Jones came out of the bathroom to find Monti standing at the top of the stairs.

She told him she wanted to talk about their relationship, but he told her he was not interested and she grabbed hold of his face.

What followed was a series of struggles which spilled out of the house.

At one point, Mr Jones heard a window at the rear of the house being smashed.

He walked round to see what had happened and Monti went for him again. She ripped his shorts off, leaving him in his underwear.

Quoting Mr Jones's statement, Judge Charles James read: "Suddenly, she grabbed my genitals and pulled hard and that caused my under-pants to come off. I was completely naked and in excruciating pain."

Trevor Parry-Jones, prosecuting, told the court: "Mr Jones's left testicle was pulled forcibly during the disagreement between the parties.

"Unfortunately, that's resulted in him losing that testicle because surgery could not correct that injury."

Wendy Lloyd, defending, said Monti, who has no previous convictions, and Mr Jones had an unusual relationship.

Monti will be sentenced on February 10 and further remanded her on conditional bail until then.

Judge James told her the fact he was granting her bail should not indicate what sentence he will pass upon her.
