Re: Looking for Charlieje
Hi, It is funny that I was thinking of Charlieje and several others of the great writers from the past when I wanted to comment on several of the current stories. I decided to join the board after learking for many many years in order to make comments. I am glad to hear he was doing well at last word. I exchanged a couple of emails and tryed to connect when I was sailing up and down the east coast a few years ago but that was about the time he must have moved on. It is nice to have some new writing which is also very good.

I was looking for Charlieje also, just to thank him for the story "Andy." He is one of the many authors I'd really like to meet someday!

Re: Looking for Charlieje
It has been far too long since I have been in contact with Charlieje, but I know that he did eventually publish FIVE novels in the series that he began here on the Archive. Amazon lists them as TEEN fiction. At least three of them are still in print and available on the Amazon site. The first novel in the series was published in an Italian translation, though that one is now out of print.

Re: Looking for Charlieje
I'd think Charlie would be in, at least, his late 70's these days, probably in his 80's. I seem to remember he was 65 when he was castrated back in 1997. So it could be that he's no longer with us, but I hope not. He was the first eunuch I ever spoke to, and in spite of living for 10 years in the state he lived in, I was not able to track him down and meet him. I would have loved to have met him and compared notes on our roads to eunuchdom.
