Well,

Nobody who has a brain left is completely asexual.

You may have some hang-ups associated with one thing or another, pr lack of a few parts, however, the biggest sexual organ in the human bosy is still the brain, hormones or no...

As humans, we are what we will ourselves to be...

Many, many doctors do testicular implants. It's a very common procedure, after having one or both testicles removed for any reason. I myself will be having this done, and my insurance pays for it. I don't know why you were told it couldn't be done. And yes, mine will be made of sillicone. Sillicone is still used in many, many medical devices and implants, and study has shown that there is NO (as in none) relation to sillicone implants and human disease. Sillicone breast implants will be back on the market in the US soon, and continue to be used in other countries with no ill effects. The Sillicone Breast Implant scare was based on bad science and mass hysteria, and again follow up studies have shown no link between sillicone and immune disorders. Good luck finding a surgeon! A quick web search will turn up many who do this procedure.

Jesus,
Robby (imported) wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2004 5:31 am Count those guys who get silicone prostheses lucky... The reason I say they're lucky results from personal experience.

December 1993 was my day of reckoning, "Robby, we want to remove your left testicle. We believe there is a great possiblity you have cancer. The only way to prove this theory is to remove the testicle and send it to the Army laboratory as they know the most on testicles. The Army will slice the testicle thinly in order to make a determination. If they tell us cancer, we will agressively treat your condition immediately."

Wow, was I stunned. Of course I said, "Sure, take it out." Then a bit of vanity set in when I asked, "Can I get an implant to replace it?"

"Don't be silly young man. Why do you want to put a foreign object in your body? By most accounts, they are only rejected over time.", said the doctor.

I guess my lot in life is not lucky as five or six Urologists have told me the same. They don't believe in putting objects in a guy's sack.

If you hear of a doctor who does this procedure, please let us know. I may be a willing subject...

I know a urologist that was known for doing implants, then later I heard that he doesn't do implants anymore...maybe his patients were rejecting them. Of course this is just speculation on my part, especially after just reading this thread.

I don't think your questions really got an answer so far in the discussion, so I'll try.

First of all, if you're having a good time don't ruin it by overanalyzing it. Otherwise you'll be like those Seinfeld episodes where a perfectly good partner is discarded because of some minor issue.

Next, there is some truth underlying stereotypes and if someone doesn't act like you expect someone of his/her gender then it is probably true that they are somewhere on that continuum of genders or asexuality. But again, as long as you fit well together who cares?

Furthermore, he may be worried about some aspect of his genitals or sexuality. Or maybe his erection was enhanced (viagra, or such).

Lastly, maybe he is a eunuch for any number of reasons (born intesex, FTM transgender, undescended testes, accident, cancer, or voluntary).

Sounds like you already have children, which might have been something to worry about. Cancer and stuff could be difficult to handle -- it is one thing to deal with if you've known someone for a while, but much more difficult to start a relationship with someone whose health is fading.

In any case, you know you're open minded and you know you are having fun. I'd just make it an interesting guessing game. See where you can steer the conversation. Get frisky and check his reaction to slipping your hands down his pants and fondle his balls.

Cheers!

Thank you for the sage advice! I have heard it before, actually- just have fun! :)

So fun is being had and fingers have been slyly slipped under elastic bands and etc. He's a fully-functional male who feels at ease sharing his emotions with me- and expecting the same in return. So go figure- a male who communicates and is open with feelings! :tongueout He's always telling me he likes how open *I* am... Its a work in progress... Taking down old walls and such. But I am having a lot of fun. 👌

Hmmm..... Any feedback is appreciated!

i cannot speak for everyone but i am a non functional male (chemically) and although there are times when it is saddening, ie... when a Woman wants a functional male, as for me i am completely happy.

do i still have a sex drive... yes

do i still have sex... sometimes

is it an over riding factor... no

i have thought about the HRT

and my ex was always bringing me every kind of penis pill in the world

but... maybe i am crazy but i wouldn't want to be 16 again

and i have never taken any of the pills

sex begins in the mind... and i am still sexual

just not studly...

although to look at me or talk to me noone would ever know...

Testosterone levels vary greatly from one male to another, anywhere between 300-1000ml's. Recently this standard has dropped from 300 down to about 250. Haven't found out why it's dropped, just that it has. What this indicates to me is that some males have a rip roaring libido wanting sex all the time (1000ml's of "t") while others have a more controlled libido (250-300ml's of "t") where they can choose to limit their sexual activity. This may be the key to your new found friend. I'm not a doctor, so I can't prove this positively. Hash

Hey Hash! What do you think of "T" numbers of "10". Maybe to low, huh.

Well, all the best to you! Hugs, Leona

There may be a very good reason for this. Namely, that some plastics can release estrogen-like compounds into the environment. This is also one of the reasons attributed to a world-wide drop in sperm levels.
