Thank you so much for your quick replies here. It's wonderful to have such a great resource for questions that come up. I had heard about this particular side effect... and I'm happy to hear that it's not all that bothersome.

Shaved Sean,

Aren't you a little young for this procedure?

Minimally, a judicious deposit in a sperm bank may serve you well in the future.

Just in case...can't hurt.

I'm 32, but I can see how that could be construed as young. I'm gay, and though that doesn't preclude parenthood, I feel confident that being a father is not part of my future. I have never really had the desire to parent a child. That doesn't mean that I never will, but I'm content with the knowlege that I have a niece and that I could perhaps adopt at some time if the desire became strong enough (I'd have to move from Florida... :-\ but like I said, it's not likely). I can't say that I haven't thought of donating or storing at a sperm bank, but it's just not that important to me.

Thanks for asking, though. There's no such thing as over-thinking this kind of decision.

:)

how are you able to tell that's what happened? Can you feel it? Good luck with your procedure.

When you're as old as A-1, EVERYONE else looks young.

If I may ask, what were the symptoms you had to determine the cords had attached themselves?

So, how old is A-1?

They say that you are as old as you feel. If that is true then I am about 110.

Ya got it wrong, Krister. It is VI who is 93, not 92. I can't tell you my age but I am still getting that Civil War Pension that she married me for way back in 1925.

Sean, You look younger than 32 in the avatar. Of course, us CIVIL WAR veterans don't get free glasses from Medicare yet, and I have to have my 93-year-old teen-age bride that I married in 1925 when she was 14 hit up our great-great-great grandkids who are still young enough to work to get magnifiers at the local dollar store. They won't take my Confederate dollars, you know.
