Bboy Update: Tuesday night

I'm very sad to hear this latest news on Bboy. I wish I could do more than offer my thoughts and hopes that he will recover soon. For those that are the closest, I feel your sorrow and pain. I think of myself as part of a family here, and you have my love and support for this family.

I haven't prayed a day in my life.But I cannot stop thinking about this.I work in the medical field also'and you expect this sort of thing when patients are in their 80's or 90;s. Life is fragile!!! You take it for granted until one day reality hits you or a loved one.We are not invincable like we tend to think we are.And I get through life thinking things happen for a reason also.That there is a god and he has a plan of some sort.I never met bboy however from all the wonderful things people are saying he sounds like a nice person.

I will continue to hope for a full recovery also.[twin]

O no! I'm crushed,this is very scary.I am a Bible Believing Christian and will pray.This same thing happened to my father.This is devastating.Bboy needs a miracle.Please keep us informed,I kept checking all day yesterday.

I hate to sound like an idiot, but WHAT HAPPENED TO B-BOY ? I don't think that I'm the only one who is totally bewildered by this. None of the posts I've been able to find tells anything about this sad event. Please, someone, fill us in on the background.

Ok. I really do understand the want to know what happened to bboy and I will go into as much specific detail as I can. Please understand I cannot go into complete detail because I must respect his privacy.

This is not a pretty story but here goes.

Bboy has always had a hard time breathing. Recently he got bronchitis which led to back pain. He took pills for back pain, allergic reaction, throat shut, he apxyiated and died. 30 mins of CPR and recessitation restarted his heart and brought him back to us, but as mentioned before, his brain now registers flat line with an occasional blip on the EEG.

I am sorry that I cannot be more specific and I am also sorry that bboy's story is so grotesque, but it is the truth and I owe you the users that.

Look for todays update but there isn't much to update.

Talula, you owe us nothing. we did not need to know that, i tried to explain to everyone that private things should remain private. it is enough to know that he is down and we should be pulling for him. any specifics are irrelivant anyway. we love you and River and know that you are bleeding for him. don't (as so often is the case) become a casualty along with him. it is good to know you and his family are at his side. these things are the most important. just try not to forget yourself and your needs while you administer to his. i wish you the best and we are all pulling for him.

Thankyou again, talula for keeping us as updated as u can. I am reading, and crying, and praying. I know the crying dont help much, but the praying is one of the things we can do to help. The crying is just something that comes natural to us, well me anyway....but I cry at most things that makes my heart hurt, or makes my heart feel good , also. Please "Lord" help him pull through.
