A Bit OT, but...

Post by Paolo »

Last Friday, I thought I was going to die.

Literally.

I wanted to, it hurt so bad.

There was blood, intense pain, and screaming on my part.

For anyone who has never had a kidney stone, of ANY size or shape, you just wait...🤫

Everyone I told - the Doctor, Grandpa, my boss, are older and have had them. They wanted to die, too. They said just wait until the big one hits. Mine was not big at all. It was tiny, really...and sharp.:(

And why is it that Doctors want to stick video cameras into every orifice of the body that you have?! I don't want a DVD of that thing...I don't care what it looks like in there! Just give me cheap antibiotics, more water, and some pain pills!

I've heard that kidney stone pain is the closest thing to childbirth men can experience.

I'm not sure what to really say but I hope you are feeling better and you don't deal with them again.

paolo.I have had two bouts of kidney stones, complete with vomiting from the pain.oh ya It was a real good time. calcium deposits are the big culprit.

Also the most common.I also have coworkers that have the same problem.Maybe this is just a coincidence but we were all raised on well water.

The dr told me at the time that I may never have another one or I could have them monthly.{That made me happy-not}take care.[twin] 🚬

Paolo,

Hope things get better soon for you. A family member had them one time, I know he was hurting real bad. I wish you a quick recovery.

Thanks, everyone.

So far, so good.

No more peeing blood, but some increased degree of testicle pain and a high bacterial count in the urine. Also, blood counts in the urine are still a tiny bit high.

Still taking antibiotics for another week before another pee test, unless something radical happens...like shooting blood out the penis again and screaming for death in the bathroom!

Paolo,

Oh my, I understand what you are going through. I felt the same way when the disk in my neck went bad. Fix it or let me die and do it now.

I've heard that kidney stones are sometimes associated with gout, which is another condition that produces intense pain over protracted periods.
