swelling,1 week post-op/normal?

hi all,how much should I worry about swelling? my scrotum feels as if it's full and hard.I know it's only been a week,just curious about my comrads here.please tell me how it went for you and when to expect it to subside.If I hadn't noticed a big change in my outlook I would swear they are still in there.

Hi Bigtwin,

The swelling should last about 3-4 weeks (it did for me). Also, I had a lot of drainage during that time. Wear the supporter at all times for about a month and things should be getting better by then.

Bigtwin, You will have tissue downthere that will asorb with time. Its just going to take awhile.Like I used to tell my kids it will feel better when it quits hurting. dl_mooney

dont worry, you should only be when its going to swell more or feeling hot.

I was lucky and had almost no swelling but then because of previous damage mine could not be removed the normal method and a cautery pen had to be used which helped prevent bleeding and swelling.

Now my partner was done at the same time using the normal method and he had swelling for 4-6 weeks.
