Though George Washinton is dead,

as an entity to live, with respect to

what is considered to be a record

of his life, it is reasonable to say,

with respect to the fact that all

three have made judgements,

and one's judgement is always

a record of the past, and what

it suggests of decisions to be

made in the future, in this

context George Washinton

(1732-1799) may be

considered to have attributes.

Though I will not disagree that

he is dead. He does not breath.

He does not eat. He does not

laugh. He does not walk.

Nevertheless, it is rather an

extraordinary suggestion,

that nothing remains.

I have more awareness of

George Washinton's existence,

than George Bush's existence,

or John Kerry's existence.

Indeed, I would value the time

spent reading the thought of

George Washington, than

talking to George Bush or

John Kerry directly.

Now, it may be suggested

that the first law of your

country, is the separation

of church and state.

The separation of the temporal

and non-temporal worlds.

One of the most important

reasons for this separation,

is that goverment has no

power over that which is

not of this world.

Therefore, one would wonder

why a government, or any of

its administrators would concern

themselves with thing over which

those concerns can serve no Earthly

purpose.

This is one of the basic values of

your country. Regrettably, it is

not a democratic value, but a

preemptive judgement of reason

over what is often the popular will.

Now, considering George Washinton

as a representative of values represented

by the first law of your country, it is

puposeful and meaningful to compare

the values and judgements of these

three people.

Though, in all honesty, I must confess

that I harbor the inverse prejudice that

you have suggested. But I would not

be so bold as you as to express it.

O.K., Manimal,

So, do you believe in life after death or death after life?

If it is the first, then maybe you can identify with the Purple Heart medals with George Washington's picture on them.

If not, it is just another dead president engraved on a piece of metal. You know, it is possible for you to shake the hand of John Kerry or of George Bush. HOwever, you'd have to dig George Washington up to shake his hand, and I would bet that it is in no condition for you to shake it.

Well, what is it? Life after death or death after life?

Choose wisely...

I am afraid the two you seem to consider

so filled with life, appear to me to be ghosts,

ghosts who haunt something that is . . .

gone with the wind.

YUP!

Gone with the wind... just like honest elections and honest candidates.

SUCKS, don't it?

(Of course, that don't necessarily make it bad. Some of the finest women I know suck, and they do a GOOD job of it, too!)
