just over 4 years since I started this journey and I have to say it's had it's ups and downs but all in all it has been a good trip. I have become a new better me , better than I ever could have imagined.

many times I have thought how would my life have been different if I never had the surgery. I have always come to the conclusion that it would have involved a box and lots of worms...... Thank gawd I did it.

My journey is nearing 1year come feb it seams I have come to a point where change is so slow it seams non existence I was hoping to be more aware

Where there changes that took place to you that where undetected until

A much later date 1 ,2 or 3 years that you where able to look back

Or is there a period of adjustment that your body just dose some catch up

usually at a year you are done with the changes hormonally but unless you are on HRT or you excersize you will see continued weight gain.

do you still get hot flashes

i get them mostly when i get up from sleeping or resting

I have learned to consciously control my body temp but at night I tend to heat up a bit.

I heat up at night, BAD.

I freeze all day.
