Why not just relocate the Detroit survivors to LA?
Earthquakes. Brush Fires in summer. Mud slides and flash floods in former burn areas when the winter rains fall. Earthquakes. Smog. The freeway traffic. Race riots. Reality TV. Our current Governor. Did I mention earthquakes? Smog? All those Starbuck's being opened. Krispy Kreme donuts.
I have to agree that the other, more-interesting, parts of the Message Board are moribund. When Sharon and I first noticed how political the Board was becoming, she told me to write a letter expressing our opinion. I did so, and the Administrators responded by creating a separate section for political comments. That was a good thing, guys, and thanks for doing it.
Even with the separate section, the problem of rabid political statements continues, as is to be expected, I guess. It's too bad that those of you who think our country belongs to Democrats and Republicans can't take your rants to Websites specifically dedicated to that topic, but apparently you can't.
It's our personal opinion that the divisions such things have created are bad for the Eunuch Archive. We've always thought of this little corner of the Internet as a place that was created to be friendly to those of us interested in the topic of male and female modification. If so, then I'm sure you agree that political diatribes have no place here.
Perhaps the dearth of on-topic postings can be ascribed to the disgust some of us feel that "our" place has been hijacked by Republican haters and Democrat bashers. Sharon no longer sits beside me to read the postings, as she always did before, and then to suggest replies or new topics. We've received letters from two of her regular readers that have mentioned they were so offended by some of the rabid stuff that they were no longer interested in posting.
In case you're wondering, no, we don't have any answers. It's easy to tell folks to behave themselves, but pretty damned hard to enforce. Maybe it's more a case of acceptability being in the eye of the reader. Whatever, it's a problem. Hopefully, it'll go away after the election, and the EA can once again return to its original purpose.
I do believe you are right on that one. I also think the political board will die a naturnal death about mid November. Keep comming, so far we have not gotten into throwing punches at each other. and most of us do respect the others point of view. Just 4more nasty months to go.

If we did away with the jokes and political message boards no one would be posting here very often at all.
I would. Not very frequently, true, but if I ran across items concerning eunuch health that I thought others should know, I'd post it.
I like the jokes board, which shows that us eunuchs can be a cheerful bunch. I avoid the Deep darl Celler and Political Boards due to lack of interest. I will vote Democrat as long as the Republicans support BARF.
