having those things gone is great, I wish I had done this a while ago

I've always been uncomfortable with my 'equipment' particularly when it would get hard (which was way too often)

It's been great not having the discomfort, and never thinking about it

(That's why I had to post this, I realized how much simpler my days are now)

Hello, dear Tiff.

I joined the group when I saw Dr. Spector. I did not know that non-snipped people were allowed here, but of course they are--I really did not have to wait until afterwards! I have had SRS since, but have also been an active member here since. It is amazing how many wonderful people are here.

You did make a good choice by coming here for questions about your orchiectomy, and I am happy to see you here. How has the healing been since your last update?

You have a road ahead of you, yes, but some members of The Eunuch Archives have been down that road, and some are getting ready to. Yes, you will need patience, persaverence, and MONEY. Plus I don't know how many therapists' letters bought with how many expensive sessions. But rest assured we will be supporting you in spirit.

Kelly, Tiff ...

Kelly has of course been a great asset to the Archive for a while now, and it's great to have Tiff on board. I wish that we could really reach out to the transgender community because I think that even though most people here seeking penectomies or castration aren't transgendered there are a LOT of common experiences (discomfort with body, desire to be rid of male genitals) and knowledge (surgeons, other resources).

It seems to me that there is a big stigma in the TS community about being labeled a 'eunuch' because of course you are women and don't want to be seen as a man who has had his genitals removed.

Hopefully as more TS people visit and participate, and if people like Tiff and Kelly go out and participate in other TS forums and communities they can spread the word that we really aren't about labels here.

There are special TS forums that I would love to see become active here -- plus having the girls participate in the regular forums. I think that both the eunuch community and the transgender community could learn a lot from each other!
