I am surprised at the thought that so many men have fantasies of castration. After many failed relationships, I have often had thoughts of removing the manhood of several past "lovers". I envision them pleading and crying as I use a banding tool on them, I want to use bands because I want them to suffer the pain of knowing they will be geldings soon, and after a point removing the band will make no difference. Men need to now we women have feelings and should not be trifiled with!

Being an older man who has had the desire to be castrated since puberty, I too and surprised that others have the same desire. Each of us has our own story of reasons.

Recently it became very clear to me that as my testosterone level dropped, my castration fantasies, desire for castration, need for castration dropped too. With the reduction of testosterone thoughts of sex, sexual desire, sexual frustration also dropped.

Nature does us a disservice. The need for sex is to reproduce, when we are in our prime. After that it seems to be problematic for many people. We think that life without sex would be a disaster. Maybe life without good sex would be not so good, but life without bad sex is very good. If 2 people are on the same sexual wave length, how sweet it is. If not, somebody needs to change, or they need new partner.

If a woman's sexual need drops, then the man should consider chemically reducing his testosterone level to reduce his sexual desire. Men think this is unthinkable. It's one of those "try it, you'll like" things. Once testosterone is not flowing through your veins, thoughts of and need for sex just fade away. While there may be fond memories of the glorious humping and pumping days, you realize that that was then, this is now, and without testosterone you can get on with living a life that is appropriate for your age.

Loss of virility must be voluntary though. Men who loose it and don't want to loose it will have mental frustrations, if not physical frustrations. They just don't learn to accept different stages in life. If nature had gotten it right we would not be able to enjoy sex until we were old. But when you think about it, originally, we sexually matured around 12 or 13, had kids, and died in our mid-20's, in ancient times.

The real problem then, today, is we live too long. I hope you can find someone who has low or no T so that you can give that kind of relationship a try. Don't judge all high T men the same. Really, they can't help it. Their raging hormones betray them.

As my wife and I have grown older we have explored doing more sexually then we did before. We have learned more about what pleases each other and we don't find ourselves quite so uptight about it. The idea that declining hormones is the way things "should" be is... Well lets say we must agree to disagree. Many couples divorce when one looses sex drive. Rather then ruin both sex drives whats wrong with treating the one with the broken sex drive?

I think having a robust sex life is fine at any age! And rushing into a sexless life is anything but normal. And most important I think its incorrect to describe all men who are castrated as being just men without sexual drive. Its more then that for many (most?) men. Mood, energy etc.

The fix to my sex problem was less testosterone. Before all I thought about was pleasing my own needs. Now on low T I find I put my wifes pleasure ahead of my own and we have have a much better and more fulfilling sex life. We seem to be in better sync as she likes it slow and drawn out. I guess everyone is different Mr. T.

Well, I don't know about women... but I'd sure like to trade years with you.

In my generation society thought that only whores put out on a regular basis. Now that women are "allowed" to like sex, it behooves men to please them. I would have no problem with that, because it'd keep me satisfied.

The way that it is even at my age it is hard to stay faithful because the more that younger women see that these days in any man, the more that they like you. That probably means the more that they'd like to have sex with you if you were available...

You see, you are safe if you are monogamous...or at least plurally monogamous... both a rare trait in a man these days...
