About Paolo,

I believe that he is on Sabattical.

He is studying things and avoiding the unpleasantries of life. Us.

We all have to do that from time to time. He will return, eventually, I hope.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...I have not posted here in a while. Paolo knows that we are here and he will eventually return to us, I hope.

I spent about two hours on the telephone with Paolo last night. He's incredibly busy with family, work, and a major project. I wouldn't expect to see him back here, except for very minor posts, for some time. Editing the fiction part of the Archive is probably more than he ought to be taking on right now.

I'd like to extend my best wishes to Paolo for his 'sabbatical', along with my many thanks for his past help & my hope that his invaluable presence is back here quickly!

To me, Paolo has not just been a board contact but also pleasant friend , adviser , prompt & critic :shakemitk & I'll miss him not being around much.

I think that what the staff do here is just amaizing and i dont think we as members always appricate what they do for us.We just come in and expect to see everything the way we like to see it but never take the time to relize just how much work goes into keeping this place going.So i do want to thank you for all you do here and the many people you have helped here is just a blessing that we seldom even think of so from the bottem of my heart i do thank and love you for all you do THANKS

Just a short post to let everyone know that I am indeed alive and well and that rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated!

Thanks for missing me.

Without going into too much detail, I am very busy. It’s beginning to pick up in the photo industry, with spring sports in several surrounding counties requiring league photography and printing. If any of you remember the 8x10 folder with a team picture and the picture of the kid in the corner of it, a memory mate, then keep in mind that someone has to print those things after they take the photos. With one full time job, one part time job, Grandpa, the dog, and five part-time boys, I have my hands full right now!

Add to that the “soccer-mom” thing, only it’s baseball and not soccer and I’m not their mother…

That, and I have a side project in the works that only a few people know about.
