Androcur Feedback Information

I started a Chemical Castration regiment with two 50 mg Androcur pills a day for two weeks and found the results pretty slow..... I still had a high libido and masturbated daily with sex at regular intervals. Then I increasd the Androcur to 3 times a day. What a change!!!! Within the thrid week I experienced a notiicable reduction in libido and by the fourth week I was totally impotent and had lost all desire for sex. However, I was still attracted to others ... it was just that I knew I had no ability to follow it up since my penis was limp and my balls disabled. I stopped Androcur (be cause I ran out of it) ... but have ordered more. Does anyone out there have experiences beyond this...or comments??

Well I started with 100mg a day and within the first week sex drive had pretty much disappeared. I could still get off and still can but it take a lot more work and effort on my part. I can say I am still attracted to others but no longer have the need to get off.

I had been on 100mg of Androcur for 4 months before I attempted castration myself and wound up in the hospital for 4 weeks, it took till the end of the 4th week before I got morning erections again although that could have also been the anti-depressants I was on at the time.

I thn started back up at 100mg for 2 weeks before going to 125mg for 2 weeks then 150mg for 2 months. I am now at 200mg and have been for over 4 weeks and plan on staying there until I can have remaining nut removed.

THANKS luvpain.... One question: As I begin androcur for the long run (without insurance) I notice the brand name "Androcur" available and also the generic "Cyproterone Acetate" which is cheaper..... I suspect they are the same .... any experience in this that can help me keep the cost down?

Well I have both used the brand name and Generic version and both seem to work the same from what I can tell. I know many of the people I have talked with actually use the generic version when ordering from Masters Marketing.

Cyprotetone acetate is the chemical name for androcur. Cyprotetone acetate is cheaper for it is the generic form. I get mine from http://www.mastersmarketing.com/price_c2.htm just like Luvpain does. I get the 50 mg 168 pill size.

At 100 mg a day my testosterone levels were reduced but no where near castration levels. After a year at 100 mg I increased to 150 mg and had another test performed and my testosterone levels were at castration levels. I noticed a big difference between the 100 mg and 150 mg level.

I was getting weak erections and making some but not much cum at 100 mg. My sexual thoughts were reduced but I still had some. I did get some hot flashes and night sweats. Body hair changed.

At 150 mg all forms of erections went away. I no longer get any fantasy thoughts. I get night sweats more often and hot flashes. My emotions have changed far more.

A friend is taking 50 mg a day and has a far lower testosterone levels then me. Each person is effected different. Even after castration the effects are much different between people. Taking a castration drug will give you an idea on how it will be once castrated. The effects do seem to increase as your body adjusts to having no testosterone. When I was taking 100 mg I was still seeing changes at the 12 month stage. Has been over 4 months at 150 mg and I am still changing.
