Hi All,

I'm in Brisbane Australia, and would like to find a doctor who can prescribe Depo Provera, or Androcur for controlling male libido. I raised this with my own doctor (before I'd even found this site) and he could not think of anything that would control my libido.

I'm sure someone in Brisbane has been through this. As with you all, this is a lifestyle choice, I'm tired of constantly battling my libido.

I've had limited success with Phyto-estrogens, now looking to finally gain full control.

It sounds like you Doctor is either not familiar with the medication currently available or he little experience treating your condition. In either case it is always advisable to get a second opinion. If you can't find a sympathetic ear in Brisbane, you may have better luck in Sydney.

Yes Jemagirl is right your doctor needs to read up on this you know if you go to google and bring up depo provera you can find sights that prescribe this for lowering libido.Maybe you could coppy this and let your doctor read it and if he still wont help you then maybe its time it find a doctor who will listen to you.I have been luckey in that my doctor has listened and prescribed this for me the past two years so i know it works so keep pestering your doctor and dont give up someone will listen to you and give you the relief you need so good luck.

You could always order it on-line. I like DP myself. If you can't inject it yourself perhaps you can find someone to give it to you.
