Sounds like it could be beneficial to do a short term band and ice if you were going to do an alcohol or calcium chloride injection.

Not sure about banding myself, as I don't have any balls to band.
That said, I just wanted to say, do be careful. We banded our young rams with an elastrator and the small tight (green, I think) small size rubber bands sold for the purpose. Cautionary note: it is reliably effective; that's why we did it.
So if you want to be like a nutted lamb, this is the way to go. Otherwise be very careful with banding, as after the nuts go numb, they die.

thats not correct,daifu.
After numbness the balls wnt die. By ice-cooling or meds only the nervs in balls and tied sac are numbed. So you wnt feeling some pain. Our nervs are the transmitter of pain signals.
And the rubber bands for rams are much more stronger and do very sharp cut in the tissue of scin and cords below. They will interrupt complete the rams or our blood flow.
Another banding with ropes or briefs gum cant interrupt the flow so sharp and completely.
And the icecooling prevents the destruction of the tissue. Remember, if any bodypart (extremly a cut off cock) is seperated, the part is to deposit and transport in a ice bag for the reattaching!
