As for the points good and bad, you give good ones for a post you thought you would have written.

Bad points should only be given if the person is rude or degrading the person.

Bad points should not be given because the person disagrees with you.

I really hate it when a brand new user (4 or 5) posts has a string of red and when you read the posts you dont agree with the person but that person has the right to post there oppinion. I have found giving them a green one takes care of the problem.

Well,

I think that a policy of NO-FAULT Karma insurance is needed.

That way, if you wreck your Karma, nobody can be sued for damages...

Of course, the Lawyers here may not go for it...
