Re: Karma Points Poll
Nuke the karma points.
(Now watch, for expressing this opinion, people will give me negative karma.)

Re: Karma Points Poll
What is the Karma System?
The Karma, or Reputation system is kind of like a rating to show how active and well received you are in the community.
It's not a straight voting though, there is some logic behind it. You get karma from number of posts, length of time you are a member, and most importantly karma given (or taken) by other members.
Votes by other members aren't equal in value ... if a more 'respected' member with lots of karma points 'touches' your reputation, you will get more points than if someone with very few points touches your reputation. Same with negative karma - the more positive karma a member has, the more negative karma they give if they choose to negatively touch your reputation.
It's all in fun and has not been that big of an issue here. Tons of other boards make it work and I can't see that we are any bitch-ier than they are (well maybe just a little
)
I voted, and encourage others, to vote to keep it.

Re: Karma Points Poll
I wonder what they taste like?
The good ones are sweet and yummy. The bad ones are rather bitter.
You will like the sweet ones.

Re: Karma Points Poll
Dear friends,
I noticed now for the first time, that negative Karmas can be given. This in my small mind is not fair.
I had to experience in the past a very bad reputation concerning my person, because somebody cornered me, and told active members of the chat some untrue facts, which really affronted me, and made me very sad. I forgave this person. I'm not resentfully, but I have to say I was shocked and I still didn't recover well. It hurts like the bite of a scorpion.
In case you will keep the Karmas, their should be a way to open the Karmas and to see from whom they where caused. Should somebody like to criticize anybody else, then he (she) should have the courage to do this face to face with his assumedly enemy.
To harm somebody anonymously is not only a bad behavior, its a bad character!
Yours sincerely friend
