Canada rocks! I go there as often as I can. If I didn't think I could do some good here, I would be there.

Sac_mech,

We love you man, but you really need to work this out of your system.

HEY! How's about you take 6 ounces of Castor Oil and post again next week when you are feeling relieved...?

No offence, but we all have our moments. I know that I have mine. This one, however, old buddy, is yours.

🚬 A-1 🚬

I want to reply and I want people to give me a chance to speak, please.

I have huge respect for the site and for our role. I do have a good sense of humour, I laugh and endomorphins which are released are good for us and within places such as the Chatroom at times, we have great laughs and affection. I have cast myself here as "Mr big bad censor" and didn't choose the best example of "oppressive humour" used on this board.

To answer the point we have the choice to visit or not, can I repeat that jokes posted appear under the "New Posts" hyperlink so that one can be led to a "joke" without reading the statements made above the listing on the board, OK. Perhaps I chose an inappropriate example, but I'm sure the feeling behind the Canadian point (despite IEunuch's usual generous interpretation) was that the USA was "Blessed by heaven" somehow and that Canada wasn't.

The joke about women is straight from the schoolyard isn't it?

This board features as part of The Eunuch Archive; a eunuch friendly place.

How many eunuchs who will have thought a great deal about attitudes to gender, thoughts about sexuality etc....how many of us can be amused or

want this stuff shown to visitor's as representing an outlook we approve or condone? I will laugh at good humour which is inclusive and which isn't smug.

Yes, maybe I take my laughter seriously but is everyone going to condem me

for being sensitive, for thinking of others and for caring.

The comment "Anything goes" is simply unacceptable - the site has shown very firmly this week that it can come down very hard when it chooses.

Let's have a Eunuch Archive that embraces people. If this board is wanted by the majority, then please exercise greater care in it's postings. I can't see how the terrific work being done on other boards can sit side by side easily with this column, at times. I've said all along this is just my opinion but I hope my words reach some allies who feel the same. One final comment I'd add is that English humour doesn't travel well across the Atlantic - with a few exceptions- it is ascerbic, dry and often self deprecating. North American humor, it can be said also doesn't cross the Atlantic well either often. Simple fact. A-1, thanks for your concern and love and everyone, please be aware I'm not exactly delighted that I raised this....but then again, maybe it was one of those January days when I had too. I still feel the same though I must add IEunuch has proudly posted a funny response which has made me laugh.

Maybe there is somebody who can't figure out that "Canada" was used only because it could be confused with "Canaan," by a pre-schooler.

I guess, read your Bible, and maybe your Torah and Koran too.
