Alright, I'm going to take the plunge in finally doing what needs to be done.

I've decided to start taking a chemical castration drug that's fairly inexpensive and has the effects I need -- relief from my over active libido.

Anyhow, before I go shotting up random amounts of drugs, I have been doing some research. It seems that for sex offenders doing chemical castration, that the guys take between 100 to 500 Milligrams every week. Women, using this for birth control take just 150 mg every 3 months, on average.

Now, women taking 150 mg every 3 months and a man taking some broad range every week seems like a disaster in the making for someone like me whose not willing to speak to a doctor. So, I don't know how much to take, because there seems to be all types of conflicting information on the web depending on what site you look at.

So, my options seem kind of limited as to what to do with depo provera. Maybe I should consider the more expensive androcur.

Anyhow, my question, I know there has to be a few of you that take depo provera, what dosage do you take and what time frame between dosages? The extra info on only make things clearer.

well Incuse i have been on depo provera for the past 17 monthes and i get a shot once a month at my doctors office.I get a shot of 150 mil and this has worked just fine for me

I have been on depo provera since april 9 2003. I have recieved 150mg every 3 months so far. It has made a huge difference in my libido, however I can still do it anytime and anyplace several times in a session, at least three orgasms. It dosent seem to have slowed down my virility much once I get going, Its just that I am able to re-focus on reality and not be driven insane all day long by the beautiful women in the world. I havent really gained any weight yet. I will go in on november 21st for another shot, this will increase my interval to every 6 weeks instead of 13 weeks. This should give me even more control over my libido. If I could find these women who want their lovers to take those penis enlarging pills or viagra then i could make a lot of them smile. I think all of those reports are just marketing for drug companies and that those women arent even out there. Hope this helps.

The official dose for sex offenders in the U.S., and the one that works for me, is 150mg./month. This should yield little to no libido.[b/]
