Surgical Question

Post by bullgeo (imported) »

Hi guys,

I already asked this question on another thread, but I was intersted in how difficult it would be to remove and empty scrotum? The balls have already removed, now you just want to get rid of the sac.

How would you do it, is it something that can be done at home without assistance?

I recall reading an account of a woman on BME who tried to pierce her labia majora, and ended up with major bleeding and pain.

The labia majora are similar to the scrotum, so I'm guessing bleeding and pain may be a significant problem in removing the scrotum.

I attended once at the removal of a guy's sac who'd already lost his balls. I'd never recommend anyone doing it themselves. It's a much more involved procedure than a simple bilateral orchiectomy. It requires the administration of considerable amounts of local anesthetic - unless you're just into the pain that occurs as the scrotal tissue is cut. There's considerable blood loss. One has to be careful not to cut so much tissue that the wound can't be closed. And finally, 20-25 sutures were required to close the wound.
