Why did I post this? Just to let those of you who are considering castration, that even in a medical setting there can be complications.

A few members of this group have been of unbelievable support; I could never have believed that I would receive daily telephone calls from people I barely knew, wishing me well and standing by me every step of the way. Just unbelievable. You know who you are, and I cannot thank you enough!

Thank you for this brave post. You are absolutely correct in stating not all humans are alike. Even though we have trained medical professionals helping us, there are still unforeseen complications waiting on the sidelines eager to jump in and make life exciting...if you can call these difficulties exciting.
To all those interested in castration, you must make up your mind on how you want the final cut to proceed. Not all recommendations are good for you. Only you know your past and present medical makeup and history. Don't be swayed by know-it-all advice. Make one of the most important decisions in your life carefully and honestly.
There are many men on the board who can tell you about their horror stories. Ask, listen, learn, and gain from their experience then, make your informed choice. Be warned, it all depends on you, your health, and your physical makeup.
Good luck and thanks again Greg for your brave honesty.
