I second JeffEunuch's advice about leaving the scrotum intact for the time being. You can always have it removed later if you wanted as your body will not have as much stress to deal with all at once.
I know Riverwind says he would do his all over again the same way, but he was very miserable and had a lot of complications after his surgeroy.

Re: Empty sac after surgical castration
I would not worry about it too much. You will feel much diffrent after you are neutered. Its not just that you problly will loose the ability to achieve a errection, you will not care to have one. I used to reach for my peins every time I saw my wife was naked. Shortly after I was castrated I stoped. I no longer worry about how things feel down there as long as there is no pain and there is not any with the sack in place. My doctor tells me that there are lots of men undergoing chemical castration at the clinic and they generally have more problems and general discomfort than thoes that were neutered. Wait till you are done before you make a decision about any futher procedures. I am sure you will achieve your primary goal of killing your sex drive. I have had sex 2 times since being neutered over 2 years ago. And both times I was unable to achieve full penatration untill orgasam. I do not become aroused by a seeing a woman undress and neither will you after you are neutered. Good luck.

Re: Empty sac after surgical castration
I still get erect right now while on Androcur, but it happens very seldome. The only way I can get off is but jacking myself, I've always have had a hard time penatrating before starting androcur.
Even though I get erections ocassionally I don't have any desire or need to get myself off. Of course I have gotten off many times while on Androcur but it hasn't really been a need besides getting of once every week or two to rid myself of morning erections. (I find if I go longer than a week without getting off I get morning erections)
Being on Androcur I have noticed my testicles are more tendor then before, but for the most part there hasn't been any pain.

I still have the sac from having my balls removed nearly 4 years ago. Can you tell me more about injecting a saline solution? Where do I get the equipment and solution?

I was castrated by Dr. Spector in 1998 and I wonder if you know what Dr. Kimmel charges to remove a empty scrotum.

Re: Empty sac after surgical castration
Hello
The post-operative volume of the scrotum usually is reduced due to the volume of the left content (except if you have low-hangers pre-operatively , which show a originally wide skin of your sac; in this case there might remain an uncomfortable amount of skin, which could be reduced about one year after successfull castration)

Or does it shrivel up ?

But others like me want to keep it for different reasons, I can't wait to try a saline infusion with the balls removed, and besides I would loose 14 self done piercings and a few other modifications if I removed the sac.
I have looked and have not found any source for the infusion kits. The two US (something Limited in Michigan and CMHurt in Calif.) firms are "out-of-stock". Anyone know of any other source? Thanks, Raphael
