I still recommend trying a form of chemical castration before hand to make sure you can handle the effects. I have a few friends that have tried chemical castration and have found out that they were not able to handle the effects and have decided to not get castrated or wait till sometime in the future.

I agree with luvpain. You should try some form of chemical castration first. I have been on androcur for about 9 months now. I love the effects. Remember 2 sinips and you can never go back for a second chance.

Luvpain was referring to me, I believe, he may have other references though.

I tried androcur for a bit. The problem I had with it was tiredness (more than I could tolerate) and problems breathing. I was on it approximately 1 week before I quit it because of those two symptons that bothered me beyond what I was willing to tolerate.

I think the problem may have been because I was taking what one site suggested as a recommended dosage of 150mg - 200 mg. I hear luvpain is doing great at 100mg, so I'm reconsidering now, because his life has seemed to have turned into some great things. I may start again at 100mg, which is what a lot of sites on the net seem to recommend as the proper dosage, but now I have to get more androcur.

when I tried it the first time, I should have tried more than for just 1 week+. I gave up to easily, mainly because of the breathing problems. (I have never suffered breathing problems in the past -- and that scared me)

HI I have been on Androcur since the start of the year. I started on 100mg a day. That seemed to work great for about 7 months. Then I started to get very weak erections. I increased the dose to 125mg a day and that is wroking great for me. Most of the guys I have spoken with are on 100mg a day and find that it works great for them. With Androcur you should take the smallest dose you can and still get the effects. That is why I split one 50mg pill into 2.

I saw your post and wanted to reply. I am a eunuch now, but before I was I lived with chemical castration for over a year. I had to be sure i wanted this way of life, for my life did and is changing. Im so much happier to be in the driver seat not my testosterone levels that where always raging.

anyway I was on depo-prevera 150 mgs every 4 weeks or so. Androcar 100mgs twice daily. and just for good meassure Spirolactane 50 mgs twice aday. I lost all ability to have erctions YES!!!!! and my penis was worthless as a sex organ. I also began to calm down and get that eunuch calm. so id say yes the chemical can and do work very well. If you really are intense as I was I also added some estrogen to shrink the ole penis and to insure my lack of any sexual feelings. I hope this helps. If you want to talk just write. scottie

I have managed with a dose as low as 12mg/day

I started at 100mg day for several weeks, then, when the drug was clearly working, I dropped to 50 for a couple of weeks, then 25, then 12. it depends on the individual , of course, but there is hysterisis, lots to start, then little to maintain. side-effects also decrease.

regards, Littlemac

Hey guys,

How difficult would it be, if the testicles are already gone, to then remove the scrotum?? Is there an easy way to do it?
