I will be castrated soon and want to start on antibiotics prior to and during recovery. Is there a 'preferred' antibiotic for this procedure or will any do?
Thanks

Be sure of a sterile procedure and no antibiotics are needed.

Prophylactic antibiotics are used in hospitals do to the nasty resistance of bacteria found there. Resistant to both disinfectant and many antibiotics. The average bathroom is less a problem than the hospital environment. That is why hospitals take extreme steps to control infection.
