Image Code on/off

Not a complaint or anything (though it is annoying) but is there a reason the "image code" is turned off in this forum?

The img codes are off in the forums that are "open" ... that is don't require registration for posting.

It's a security thing :-\

However ...

If the IMG code is in your signature it should still appear (as mine does, see below)

My "signature" is not in the .sig area of this BB so that I can modify and change it depending on post content. For example, in most BB systems I am on I put one of the Smilies after my signature - which one depends on what my post is saying. It also allows me to not include my signature, or to include an alternate signature if I so choose.

All that's in the .sig area here is links to two of my sites.

Now that I know that having images off is purposeful, my question has been answered, and I will just live with it.
