Castration in the UK

Does anyone know anywher/anyone who would do a castration in the U.K ? Most doctors wont even talk about it ?

It's not just the U.K. I asked my (Psychiatrist) doctor about castration 5 weeks ago and thoroughly shocked him! He said, "We will discuss this another time, but he did schedule some hormone and thyroid tests. I hope to get the results of them next week. He didn't even mention my request to my Primary Care Physician because I had to tell her about it. She wants to make sure that I am doing the right thing and give information to me about it. Her interest is very professional, so that I can make an informed decision. I am taking antidepressant meds and my sexual desire/thoughts have decreased by about 97%, so I guess you could say that I am chemically castrated.

I have looked at the websites on the subject of HUMAN castration and there is little there. It seems to be a taboo topic!!!

If you have a valid reason, I would think that Privated doctors would consider refering you, With a valid reason, of course.

Do you really think so? My understanding is that you may be able with two references but more likely lock you away because you are a danger to yourself. Having said that, I did see in a recent documentary that a Scottish Doctor would operate but even then only after reports.

UK still has a long way to go alas.
