I still cannot get into the chat room. I have tried almost everything, When I get into darkstar1 I get a message that says connecting and the next line says disconnected.

I am not sure what to do next.

Windows XP (home or pro) no longer includes a JAVA client bundled with the system. You can download and intall it for free HERE (http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp).
