I thought you might enjoy my postal experience of yesterday:
I went to the post office to pick up my mail, and there was a package returned that I had sent to Paolo. The note on it said that international parcels require a Customs Declaration Form. I looked at the postmistress and commented, "When did Indiana become a foreign country?"
Without missing a beat, she looked up at me and said, "Ive BEEN to Indiana. I KNOW its a foreign country!" The guy behind me agreed.
I then reminded her that Paolo claims to live in "Hell, Indiana" and that I had sent him a letter with his name, street address, "Hell," and the zip code. No state. It went through with no trouble.
Her comment: "Postal workers certainly know where Hell is."
The route to Hell
