Androcur Dosages

Could those of you that have taken Androcur, would you please share with us your dose per day when started and maintenance and for how long.

I have been away but .. When I sarted adrocur , I don't do anything at an easy does it pace.... I took 100 mgs in the morning and 100 mgs at night. Then dropped it to 100 mgs after a month. worked fine. No erections no libido. scottie

Hi,

I started with 200mg/day for 5 days, then dropped to 100mg for several then continued at 50mg/day for 11 months in total. Now (1/2 tablet in morning/evening). I guess we all vary in uptake, and I have been able to get the full effects with a very small amount. The effect is like a toggle switch: takes lots of effort to turn it off, then only a small pressure to keep it off I guess.

I started out 100mg day 50mg morning and 50mg dinner. After 4 months I increased to 125mg day. In the 5th month I then changed to 150mg a day. I was trying to get the balls to shrink faster. It did not seem to change any. I went back to 100mg day. Still very happy with the lose of erections, no cum, and no sex drive. Some of my body hair has changed and is thinner grows slower, and is much lighter in color. Fair amount of face is gone and no more side burns. Shave every 2-3 days now, was every day

This is a great way to try out castration. I should have done this many years ago.

USE of Androcur-Ilive in Canada so the two favorites are androcur , which is approved in Canada,been on it for most of 7 years now,

I can<t recall exactly how long it takes for the total process.i

I go regularily for blood tests , min 3 mos.(also take premarin)

I take 50 mg once a day.(also saw an endo at first of prescription and 6 month follow up.

I am happy with the results and am now seeking a total castration and pee hole relocation.
