Just a Thought

Post by cutlet (imported) »

My apologies for getting a bit hung up on Burdizzo castration but, if the objective is to stop blood flow to the testicles, so that they wither and die. Then any method of stopping the blood flow will have the same result, I assume.

So why not use a similar method to the vasectomy. A small incision, fish out the cord, tie off either side of the cut point and then sow back up again?

Sorry about the 'surgical' terms but I'm not a surgeon.

Isn't that what would happen with the burdizzo, rot, be absorbed, I'm no expert. But I would have thought the result is the same.

The balls must come out and be removed. If there is to be no "danger" of them recovering. The sutures may not be tight enough, for example.

This is something I was wondering, the burdizzo castration is performed, the cords are crushed and scar tissue forms, and teh testicles die. Do they simply just rot away, if so, there are many dangers with this!!! Read some of Scottie's posts to find these out.

Most sutures will lose tensile strength over time and may give way.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? I mean, if you're going to cut the scrotum on each side anyway, and pull cords out and ligate each, why the hell not just make slightly longer slits in the bag and pop the nuts out, and cut 'em loose?

Presto! No worries, and fresh Mountain Oysters for dinner! 🚬

Sounds logical to me .

All the Orchidectomies I've seen on line show the incisions on the higher up where the vas/testes are connected inside the abdomen...So they have to go form there ?

I am thinking about this myself as my body hair is very thick when I dont do Androcur.... I have recently switched to Spiro and ist crap..all the raging hard ons are back :(

I dont want t go SRS but wouldnt mind an erection when I want it but MUST lose this body hair..any ideas ?

Jane,

It can be done either way, through the abdomen or scrotum.

How much spiro did you try? Spiro is also given to genetic females for excess hair growth. 200-300mg of spiro a day, would not be out of the question for some.
