I am working on getting published and this story popped out

I have been writing a while and working on a LitRPG novel. As I was writing a tangential story popped out and I got side tracked. It's a story that, with a few modifications would fit better here than anywhere else.

So I don't want to mess up, on my first attempt. What is "in bounds" (What can I write about) and what is "out of bounds". Obviously, I can't defame anyone, insult anyone or group, disrespect people, etc.

I've read the posting guidelines, and I think I have it all covered. Is there anything I am missing?
