Hey all, I remember a story of a husband/wife that owned a hardware store and got started on the penectomy path (castration maybe) he built he a gallow and one night they actually use it. Then she tells a friend and end up help others use the device.

Some version of this theme is relatively common, with a fair amount of variation in backstory, etc. I know I've seen plenty of 'guillotine' (the term you probably mean, 'gallows' is how one is hung, guillotine is the chipper-chopper - Tisket-a-tasket, a head in a basket, it can not respond to the questions you ask it....) stories...

Can't suggest titles as it isn't a theme I'm sufficiently interested in to make note of them.

No it was a guillotine, the blade was spring loaded to ensure enough speed and pressure made the cut

Thanks. I lost my previous account and all fav stories. I understand that there are many such stories. I remember that in that story protagonist was only curious and wanted to back out at the last moment but failed to do so.
