It has come to light that a documentary team based in the UK but also approaching community members in the US is acting in bad faith.
Reports of allegations have emerged suggesting that the journalist team has been using dating websites and other community forums to catfish eunuch and nullo people, as well as surgical candidates, grooming and coercing them into participation.
Additionally, the destination of the documentary has been concealed from prospective participants, but is alarming to the interests of our community.
Additionally, celebrity involvement may cloud judgement.
The true focus of the documentary is the recent negative events in the UK, and appears to be leaning towards a sensationalist approach.

Re: Warning bulletin
Thank you for this. I know someone who was questioned by the police. I have known him many years. I am fairly sure there is still an investigation going on in the UK. Therefore be very careful indeed about 'friendships' and don't divulge anything about your personal journey to third parties.

Re: Warning bulletin
I don't know how often we have to say this, but the media is not friendly to our group. They will tell us one thing, then produce something completely different.
My standard line is I don't grant interviews, however, that won't shield any of us from catfishing, where they pose as serious people online get information, then use that information in a derogatory way.
I've gotten caught in this crap once or twice. It is difficult to shield yourself when you're a good actor, and they act in bad faith in violation of website terms of service or the GPDR, which the UK may no longer be party to since Brexit. I know the UK adopted EU regulations as a matter of course so that when they ceased being part of the EU, things wouldn't change overnight, but it doesn't mean this particular facet couldn't have changed in the past year or two since.
