'm pleased to say that I finally seem to have stopped seeping blood/fluids, and no longer have to wear a gauze pad. It took a while to get there. To my surprise, I found out that much of the discomfort I was still feeling was actually caused by the gauze pad, though I'm still a bit tender. I'm continuing to be careful, reclining when able, sitting on a "donut" when I have to sit up, etc.

The one thing that I wonder/worry about a bit is the swelling. At first, there was much more swelling, and my (much shrunken post-orchiectomy) penis was totally buried. Now, the swelling has reduced to the point that the head sticks out and urination is easy. Still though, the whole area where the scrotum used to exist is still significantly swollen. Where I expected to end up with a smooth/flat area, I currently have a rather firm bulge, with tissue also still swollen up around the penis. I honestly don't remember now how long it took for swelling to completely go away after my orchiectomy, but I don't think it was this long. I'm 4 weeks post-scrotectomy, and I really hope things will settle down.

Thanks for the update IFN.... Sounds like about what I've been experiencing so far although I'm not as far along the healing route as you are... My penis was so buried by the swelling that I couldn't do my intermittent cathing, and had to get set up w/ an indwelling Foley... Right now the central part of my incision seems to have healed to the point where its not seeping; but I'm still having seepage at the ends down near my anus and the base of my penis.... I've been trying to position the 'male guard' pads lower to keep the fluids from messing up my underwear, w/ mixed success, and I'd say that the pressure from my wheelchair cushion on the pad is making that my biggest pain point of the incision.... I may try finding a thinner pad to see if that helps with the discomfort.

I have an appointment to see the Urology dept on Monday, hopefully I can get rid of the Foley then...

FWIW, today I am trying using a much thinner non-stick gauze pad over the lower part of the incision near my anus, and putting the male-guard pad higher up where I used to wear them. This is MUCH more comfortable. I don't know if it will stop all the liquid from seeping through the pad, but hopefully it will stop the worst of it.
