The Wayback Machine for EA : A Short Guide

https://web.archive.org/web/20090303071 ... ch.org:80/

Go to the Wayback Machine's site. This address is one I picked, with the numbers after "web/" being a date. In this case, the link is for their capture taken on March 3, 2009.

In the upper right corner, you will see a yellow on black box with blue arrows with dates. This is the date selector for their captures. Set the date you want to browse. You are NOT browsing EA as it is now. You are browsing their capture of the site from the past!

You should arrive at something that looks like this:

https://web.archive.org/web/20090302193 ... al=stories

Click "STORIES" which is in yellow text near the upper left side of the screen. To the right, you will see a story browser box or 2.

In this case, https://web.archive.org/web/20090216092 ... a&letter=p I have clicked on the letter "P" for authors.

Click any link.

In this case, https://web.archive.org/web/20090321022 ... avelin.htm I have clicked on one of Prudence's stories. It will come up as it appeared "back in the day."

You have to hit those little letters in the boxes to the right just right to get them to work!

I didn't know about this opportunity to "travel".

This is simply amazing!

Thank you very much!
