Re: Diabetes and Castration.
I don't know about diabetes, but during my chemcastration periods triglycerides and cholesterole have clear drop. Which is good for health. I have noticed it twice when I measured my testosterone and other blood parameters during, before and after chemcastrations.

My question would be; is it a side effect of the antiandrogen med by themselves or is it resulting from the lack of T in the metabolism. Does someone noticed a drop in cholesterol level and triglycerides after physical castration?

Re: Diabetes and Castration.
In my experience triglycerides are dependent on diet
HDL drops generally as it is somewhat horomone dependent. My LDL was never high, my HDL is 37 last labs and my LDL at 79. Triglycerides 212 which is at the higher end of the range.
My struggle was with NAFLD and liver labs. I felt amazing of T but I was clost to dealth and liver failure in 2019 so I needed to go back on it. Managed in 6 monthe to get my liver labs back to something approaching normal. Then I have the issue of high crit and heamoglobin which is a side effect of the T, which would be treated with blood donations but if your crit is over 18 they will not let you donate becuase they asssume you are dehydrated.
