Beware the ides of March
In the UK many members of the North London castration and nullo cult that was raided by the police, have now admitted to helping their leader remove some of his unwanted body parts such as a nipple and foot etc. However, the leader of this cult has opted to plea not guilty to similar charges and will go to trial at the Old Bailey, this is expected to start on the 4th of March 2024 and last eight weeks.

hopefully the prison screws will keep a good watch on the cult leader, otherwise he may fade gently away as he discards more and more body parts leaving nothing to prosecute!

Tante Wippen,
I do not condone what these people on trial in the UK did, but if you call this a cult one more time, you'll be removed from this site.
The men who desire these things are not part of a cult. The vast majority are people who want actual help, through legitimate resources, whom go to people like those in the mentioned case because the medical system has failed them leaving them little to no other choice.
Your equating it with a cult diminishes myself and those like me. It is an erosion of our humanity and playing into the hands of those people who want to "other" us. We never asked to be afflicted with this dysphoric curse. We never wanted this, it just happened, and what I've had done to my body was done to bring an inner peace in my life and end my internal torment.
It literally saved my life. I was ready to kill myself over this because I struggled to find help, but I was fortunate to find legitimate help before that happened. I get how these bellends who are presently running your country and printing this in the press over there would probably like me to have just gone ahead and done it. The fact people like me exist is simply a means for them to grab as much power as they can. They give not one whit about us otherwise. We're just a convenient tool, and your calling us members of a cult plays right into their plan.
I am not, nor are these people on trial in your country, a member of a cult. We are human beings with the same needs for compassion and care you would yourself expect to receive.
So, one last time, knock it off. You're on thin ice.

Seconded.
I'd add, that in the UK the use of a religion-category term ('cult') in a pejorative way is a knowing breach of both the Equality Act 2010 and (in public sector arenas) the Public Sector Equality Duty too. There is more than one thing going on in the gutter press -- and one aspect of it is to try to undermine EqA2010 and the PSED because of a demonisation of minority religious communities in the UK, linked to a growing xenophobia. ... As I have made clear on numerous channels, there is a way of calling this out, by reclaiming the term 'cult' in an act of self-aware and spelled-out legal sophistry, in order to point out that beliefs are protected in this country, so the press pejorative is unlawful. They cannot legally identify a community as religious and then breach the legal duty to 'foster good relations' (PSED regs.).
E.g. "I believe in body autonomy. The red-top newspapers yesterday called me a "cult" for that... well I will accept that label if they concede that the belief is therefore protected under EqA2010 and PSED. On these grounds I can claim against them in the ASA for breach of regs and the Law."
The posts above weren't playing that game, so don't get that free pass.

And this is the ongoing problem for this community: LOOK AT THE FREAK SHOW!
Every time something like this ends up in the news, it only sets back all the work that, not only this site, but everyone else involved throughout the global community has tried to accomplish since... well, who knows?!
One would think that with the new SOC out, things might have gotten better. Then along comes the crowd screaming: "They're cutting little boys' bits off, and chopping off young girls' boobies!"
Find me ONE fucking example of this?!
You can bet if my 8 year old "Grandson" mentioned puberty blockers in a few years, I'd be at the forefront for him. Or any kid, gender (biological or perceived/desired) regardless.
The same goes for any adult seeking gender reconciliation. And yes, it's reconciliation. Plain and simple.
It's not a freak show at the circus, nor is it a "cult".
But can we have a rational discussion? Apparently not in today's media. Not for anyone of any gender or age.
As one of my old high school teachers used to say: "BURNS me up!"
I'm going to shut up now. I can't even come up with the words.

The UK media is especially bad. To some extent it always has been, but it is getting worse. The best we can do is use the law against it whilst fighting on the streets through progressive cultural commissioning and positive interactions with diverse communities. On the plus side, the UK media is so bad, that most people have been burnt by it one way or another, so are open to listen to a marginalised community if they happen to meet with someone from one in real life.
