I really do think it would be cool to have a dotted line around the full base of my dick with "DETATCH HERE" in all caps. Maybe have a small tattoo of a pair of scissors or a knife along the dotted line depending on how much I like the tattoo artist and the pain. Regardless of my penectomy fantasy that's something I would 100% do and would love to show off!
No idea how much this could cost or if I can find anyone willing to do it. Help anyone?
From my recollection of trips to your state, there seemed to be a pretty decent number of tattoo parlors around, so I'd probably do a search and start dialing... I don't have any, in part because I can't afford what I'd really like, but have known a few artists... Definitely shop around and be sure to look at plenty of samples of their work - any slob can pick up a gun, but only a few really know how to use one well....
It can also be a challenge to find artists willing to work on that part of the anatomy as opposed to the more usual arms, etc...
I'd also suggest making your own artwork using whatever media the artist wants you to use. My recollection of the process when I've seen it being done is that the artist uses a transfer type technique to temporarily mark your skin with the design, and then goes over it with the gun for an outline and then fills it in... My observation was several years back, so they may have new / better / different techniques these days...
Cost will depend on the artist (quality costs!) and the size / complexity of the design....
Also remember - tattoo's are almost as forever as our favorite topic... Similar advice about being REALLY SURE applies...

This brings to mind; once nullo, have a 120V power outlet tattooed in the appropriate location with "Reattach here."

I'd LOVE IT if mine were turned into a snap-on tool. Store it in a dresser drawer when not in use, or maybe stuff it in a sock and keep it in one of my sneakers. Then come home and find my roommate's dog walking around with it in its mouth :-O

I too have desired a tattoo of my eunuch status. I have found it is not as easy as I thought. I know many people with tattoo's and I thought "hey it must be easy to get one". Well not so easy in my city. First issue is tattoo artist are an eccentric bunch. In my town they work only by appointment, however, none of them take phone calls. You have to contact them on social media, like Facebook, etc. They may or may not contact you back. If you want something customized you have to bring your own design or if they do it it's going to really cost you. After all that I found out it is not an easy thing to get done. It's going to take a long time and perhaps several sessions. Then recovery and care will take longer than it took me to recover and heal from my castration. So while disappointed I have given up getting a tattoo. That noted there are websites where you can get a custom temporay tattoo. Send them a design and they will make you a temp tattoo. How long they last depends on your choice of brands and the care they need. Not cheap but more affordable that a real tat.
I have 4 small tattoos 3 are mutually wanted by my current wife: a wedding band, a half-heart incorporating a semi-colon behind the ear, and a combined initial on the ankle (we share the same initials) It was a very quick process; he designed the tats on his computer and printed the stencil out on the spot. Aftercare was minimal. I also have a blue heart tattoo on the back of my neck formed by two birds with long necks folded over to form the top of the heart. The design was from a pendant I gave my first wife. I love it though I can't see it. The artist had to laboriously draw the stencil and healing was a couple of days. Overall each tattoo was easy and memorable.
