What does it feel like

Post by Daniel01 (imported) »

Just got the call that my big day will be next month. A bilateral orchiectomy. Both of my testicles never full dropped as a child and have always been sensitive if not in pain at time in that area. I was always tired so my GP did blood work including testosterone. My T levels were 117 and 123. Endocrinologist figures I have always been sterile and due to the major discomfort recommended they could be removed. Urologist agreed. I have opted for no prosthetic. My question is….what does it physically feel like to not have testicles? No sensation be,who the penis or different sensation.

You will never miss them. You will have more room between your legs and never have to worry about getting hit in the nuts or any further pain. There will be a short period while healing from surgery that you will be uncomfortable but it will not last long as you start to heal. Welcome to the ranks of the many eunuchs of the world.

Not sure there will be “more room”. They are both pretty high. I do feel them all the time….I call it discomfort, but at times more then that. But I can always feel them, kind of like if you tapped your thumb with a hammer. You can block it, but if you focus on it, I can always feel them. My question is…do you actually stop feeling any internal sensation if you were to touch down there

Also…he doesn’t typically do scrodum reduction, but says it will shrink over time. I don’t have a large sac…but I bet it still will look like loose chicken skin….

You will love it. In my case there wasn't much pain or issues. Took longer than expected for dissolving stitches to finally dissolve. I didn't get my scrotum removed and after five months now it has shrunk on its own and no longer hangs down.

I remember taking a bath before and feeling my testicles for the last time. I noticed that the muscle was trying to flex my balls at first and they were not there. At first you really do notice that you cannot flex your testicles anymore. And I remember small hard stumps in my scrotum for a couple of weeks. They were sore to the touch. After about a month, they disappeared. I do remember the dull pain inside my lower stomach and groin the first few days. That is something other people mention.

I did have soreness the first time I jacked off and ejaculated. That went on for a while but then you forget about this stuff and accept that you are neutered (like the male dogs in the neighborhood and the steers on a farm).

I remember waiting to rolled into the surgery. Once the IV is in, you realized that it's going to happen, and you just accept that you soon will be castrated.

Thank you…that is the type of explanation I was looking for. After surgery the doctor has instructed me to stay in bed or on the coach for the whole day. And not lift anything more than 10 lbs for 6 weeks. Was there any loss of energy after the surgeryy and how long before you could walk any great distances? I have a count down clock on my IPad. It’s now less than 30 days….nervous…yes but not enough to back out. More like is this really a dream coming true. I know when I am being driven to the clinic and directed to undress…it will be real. Not until than

You should practice learning how to get out of bed by rolling on your side and dropping your legs down. That will avoid straining your lower stomach and groin muscles. There will be blood vessels in your cord that are tied up. One of those popped in me and I had a massive hematoma. It's not super common but avoiding the use of stomach muscles for getting up will really cut the risk. I did not focus on that and I remember the strain to get out of bed. The next thing I knew, the scrotum filled up close to the size of a medium apple with blood and turned black.

I think you will notice the muscles around your cords will still be a little active and you will try to flex your balls and there is nothing there to flex. Depending on how high up they stretch and cut, you probably will feel little stumps. Soon they will be gone (pull up inside you) like you never had testicles.

My balls were shrinking because of being on TRT. They were often pulled up inside me as if I was castrated (empty scrotum). A warm area is not a healthy place for them to hang out. I wanted nice size implants and a full scrotum. I traded my balls for a bigger pair. My doctor said that from the amount of time I was on TRT, my testicles were now just nonfunctional tissue, and I did not need them anymore. He thought it was a good idea to get them out if I wanted implants. I was happy that I was brave and had them removed. I like the implants and it's nice (for me) to finally have a full scrotum with plump (European made) gel implants that feel like the real thing.

It won't feel like anything and as time goes by, the new normal feeling will be that you won't remember them. You won't really miss them either and it won't effect erections if you use testosterone replacement. If you want to increase your sexuality, then use more testosterone. They'll probably recommend some form of testosterone either with shots or gel that you rub into your skin. Wish you the best.

What type of TRT are you using, how much (dose) and how often? Any side effects? I am currently injecting myself weekly .05 mg of testosterone in my thigh for the last year. It seems like my testicals have never made much testosterone (due to them not fully dropping at birth) and I have minor to major discomfort to pain if they get touched gently wrong. He offered a nerve block at first to see if that would alleviate the pain, but I didn’t want to risk waiting another year to get them removed if that didn’t work. My erections all my life have been off and on an issue. 2 years ago my endocrinologist prescribed me an injectable in to the side of the penis, Tri Mix. It works well…fairly easy to inject and makes me very full for up to 45 minutes. But can only use it once a week. They say you need either Testosterone or Estrogen to keep good bone structure. Hence my TRT. Once I am a eunuch (my wife loves that word) I was going to ask my doctor if I could go on estrogen for a couple of months for breast growth. I have always had sensitive breast and can even orgasim with nipple play. He ran a DNA test and I don’t have that extra chromosome. So sad.
