I personally identify as eunuch even though I haven't had the surgery yet. I've been low T for over a decade (around the 200 range) with low energy, ED, penis shrinkage, a hint of gynecomastia, low libido, lousy sleep, weight gain, etc. Not sure of the reason. Might be Type 2 Diabetes or that I've been a plant-based vegan for many years.

I like the reduced sex drive, but it's still too overpowering for my liking. I need it gone and to just be a productive, sexless human. I'm thinking castration-level testosterone might not be drastically different than what I'm already used to.

Haven't had penetrative sex for many years. My spouse is on board with my orchiectomy plans for health reasons.

In my latest checkup they discovered an enlarged prostate and after a number of tests, they are doing a biopsy at the end of the month. Can't really progress much until I know the results of that situation and what treatment they prescribe (hopefully involving an orchiectomy).

If not, I have enough gender dysphoria to fill a warehouse, so that would be option two.

The last and most expensive option is to go to one of the informed consent docs in Georgia, Michigan, or Tijuana. I won't rule it out.

I'm excited that "eunuch" is now an official gender identity and there are now standards of care. Hopefully this will make things easier (and more insurance friendly) for all of us.

I really enjoy participating in the discussions and exploring all the information on this website. It's very helpful.

I'll update this blog as things progress.
